Banagher Torrox — Restaurant in Torrox

Stopped here to eat a few nights ago. It was horrible ... We used to eat here many years ago, and back then it was good. But not anymore ! I ordered Suprema Salmon. What turned up was a sad, overcooked piece of fish with a very limp, very boring bit of side salad. I asked if there was any sauce for the fish, or an option for vegetables, I was told bluntly ' No, this is it ' ! I sent the food away saying I didn't want it, and the waitress didn't come near our table again, not even to suggest an alternative ! My companions ate a rather mediocre pizza. Chicken escalope ( very oily ) and a Carbonara, which would have looked more apertizng with a bit of garnish. I would never return here again, it was cold and unwelcoming. You can get really nice quality food at a similar price in another restaurant nearer to the Faro .... which we discovered a...

Absolutely awful, we ordered drinks along with spaghetti Bolognese and cannelloni. Mine came out hot in the middle and cold around the outside. This had clearly been in a microwave. We waited for my wife's cannelloni to turn, but it didn't. I ate half the spaghetti but by this time it was cold. I spoke to the manager and complained that my food was cold and I was still waiting for the cannelloni. By this time 20 minutes had passed. He told me it takes longer for the cannelloni than the spaghetti. Why did they send my meal without my wife's....

Wish I'd have read the reviews before eating here. We decided to have a family meal as the set out and decor etc looked inviting. Out of two starters ordered one came with two of the main meals, ten mins later the other two meals arrived. We cancelled the second starter as feared it would be a dessert! Kids had to share a meal as the meat lasagne had no meat and was sour, just inedible. The burger came out totally different to how it was described. The waiter although apologetic still charged for the inedible meal. Ended up buying kids pizza next...
