Just recently I feel these guys have really upped their game! In the past they have been a bit hit and miss (not ever the food, just service, short staffed, so busy etc). But in my last two visits I've seen the improvement. They are on the ball with service, the food is as good as ever, simple things like the phone number for reservations is displayed and now a poster with opening times. Sounds daft I know, but, the village can be so hit and miss sometimes with who's open and when so I just get the feeling they are on the top of their game! Keep up the good work and...

Shocking service! It was very busy but we waited 20 mins and got a table around 10pm. Drinks came quickly but waited 45 minutes to order food. 11.45pm we had to chase up food and ask for another drink. They had started packing chairs away like they were going home! Food arrived at midnight and we were told one of our meals wasn’t coming. They couldn’t do it - kitchen said no. So we had to share our dinners!
