Awful service. The two male waiters should not be working in hospitality and one of them needs anger management courses.
We had a 21:40 booking and were happy to wait at a nearby restaurant for just under an hour. I popped in to note we wanted an outside table if this was possible. One became free as I was advising this, the female staff member (after checking with her male colleague NOT HER FAULT AT ALL as she DID check with a waiter) and offered it to us in 10 minutes.
When we came,it had been given away. We were seated inside, and when I asked why, the male waiter accused me of lying, threw the booking book around by showing me names that it was given to people who booked it, and told us to go elsewhere. We ordered with some help by the lovely waitress, and enjoyed the music and atmosphere while we waited.
After the first dish came out and we tasted the food, we knew that we would be in for a treat. We finished with dessert that Paolo insisted we try, so much so it was on the house. Every meal was spot on, and could not be faltered. (Even by a Nonna)
We met with Paolo again at the bar, we had a lovely chat and enjoyed some of his mother's homemade liquor.
In short, WHAT A SPOT, if you haven't eaten or drank at this place you are missing out, the vibes are killer and the food is the best we've had while in...
