After spotting this beautiful restaurant a month ago I've wanted to return ever since. I wanted to love it so badly. Especially as the staff were so friendly and pleasant and welcoming. They seem like genuinely lovely people. But I was so shocked and disappointed by the food and also the cleanliness (or lack of) of the bathrooms. €13 for a bag of dry and undressed salad thrown onto a plate, with a few whole cherry tomatoes, and two slices of smoked salmon, just not good. The papas bravas were alright - it's hard to get them wrong really isn't it. The meat we had with mushroom sauce was V E R Y dry, and gave the suspicion of 'reheated' :( I can't understand the disconnect between what we experienced and the glowing reviews. But I'm hoping it was just a bad day and we picked the wrong dishes. Storing the bread right next to the men's bathroom, and a half cut baguette with flies around on the surface again next to the men's bathroom is disastrous and I pray what we ate came from a cleaner...

The croquettes were heated up in the microwave and half cold, the mushrooms were unseasoned and filled with alioli and a strange Marie Rose sauce (not enjoyable), and the entrecôte steak (a €18 plate of food) was undercooked (we had to send it back) tasteless, and not seasoned, and the chips were cold. To make things even worse, the service was terrible and we were in and out of the restaurant within 55 minutes. It wasn’t cheap either....
