Visited here on 12th July 2023 while travelling through Europe.

By the side of a small channel, this restaurant manages to deliver a traditional Albufera Paella. While we had the not so traditional seafood Paella, the flavours were still there. Perhaps the meal tasted better knowing we were sitting in the birth place of Paella. We visited after doing a little boat tour.

Restauant was busy inside, so we sat outside, which was nice despite the heat.

Service was on point with correct knowledge of the menu and friendliness.

No music, which appears to be a common theme in most...

We ordered the pebre de anguila (eel and potato stew) and a seafood paella for three. While the pebre de anguila had a bit too much oil and came with some bread that didn’t quite hit the mark, the paella was lacking in depth and flavor (all that I could taste was salt). Most importantly, it was missing that signature socarrat—the crunchy bottom layer of rice that really makes a paella special. The service was okay, though we felt a bit pressured to order drinks, and there was a mix-up with our bill that we only caught after double-checking. On a positive note, the...
