A TOTAL DISASTER! Terrible service (probably the worst I ever experienced), very unfriendly staff, everything is overpriced, very long waiting times, and what's probably the worst, the food was disgusting! The starters were cold and tasted old. We (party of 5) were there on a Saturday afternoon and the place was max half full. Nevertheless, they even ran out of glasses and we had to drink out of the bottles. They placed us at a very small table for 4 even though we made a reservation and were extremely annoyed when we asked to switch to a bigger table - and again, the place was half full! Then after almost 1.5h waiting they brought us the wrong orders. So all over again! Then after a total of 2h we finally left the place hungry, frustrated and disappointed! In my experience, better go to another restaurant or bring your own snacks to enjoy the surroundings and natural beauty...

We arrived in El Palmar with no plan no booking. We walked pass this restaurant at 12pm just to get coffee. But the smell of the Kitchen made us to enquire the table for lunch. This young man explained to us that we should pre-order the Paella to avoid 40mins wait which we did. He speaks English which is a plus.

We came back at 2pm ( we glad we reserved the table as they already fully booked.

Same guy saw us and showed us the table. We ordered the rest and every came quickly.

In Spain, restaurants can be tricky as mostly run in Spanish way. But this restaurant is well organised.

I ate the best paella of my life here. We ordered the paella valenciana with chicken and rabbit, it was delicious. I have eaten some good paella in Spain, but this was in an entirely different category. The waitresses were great and it was impressive to see them carrying the huge skillets full of paella. We had sepia and calamares as an appetizer, they were also quite good. My only complaint: flies everywhere and on everything, including buzzing in our ears.
