I wish I could comment on the food (all dishes looked great, that’s why I’m giving 3 stars) - but the service was so poor and rude that I walked away after 15 mins. I stopped by after the playa - I was the only tourist (I speak Spanish). I always look for authentic and local places, and I have to say I never ever witnessed a rude service in Andalucia until I stepped here. Ok, it was peaked lunch time and the place was packed. When you get there, there are people standing and eating, some were cueing, some others waiting not knowing where to stand. Nothing was clear, a total mess. The first waiter I spoke to said I could not share a table with anyone (I was alone, which is not common here), and said I should step back to wait in line with the other customers. When asking who was the last one in line, people said they were eating at the outside/high mesa and not joining the line, so I walked back insidie waiting for a table. A waitress came to me and said again I should move and join the line, but as others around, I was confused about where the line started and who was waiting/who wasn’t. Some other people left, and at that point, when the third waiter came yelling at me, I left for good. Again, I love local places and the messy vibe of Andalusia, but I always found all over the region organized and kind service (even in popular places like Los Hermanos in Conil). I would never recommend this place (I also sensed they were a bit rudish, cause I was a foreigner). I understand the place was crowded and the staff was stressed about it, but there...

Pésima atención y empatía con los clientes. Dos amigas y yo decidimos ir a la cervecería por su supuesta “fama” en el palmar. También he de decir, que no hay otra cervecería como tal por allí. Pero precisamente como suele estar llena quisimos ir. Ante la evidencia de que había tanta gente y no había mesas decidimos preguntar al camarero por la lista de espera. Este nos dijo que NO HABIA LISTA DE ESPERA, que nos sentásemos en la primera mesa que quedase libre. Decidimos apoyarnos en una barra que tienen fuera donde a otros clientes los estaba situando y atendiendo otra camarera. No obstante, dos chicos que estaban en la mesa alta de al lado nos dijeron que nos pusiéramos con ellos para apoyar las bebidas (que aún no nos habían puesto), ya que no les importaba. Tras 45 minutos de espera donde la camarera que atendía con las comandas y sabia que estábamos allí situadas, nos decía que ahora venia y nunca lo hacia. Fuimos a hablar con ella debido a la espera tan grande que llevábamos, sin habernos puesto ni bebidas ni nada, ni si quiera atendernos. En ese momento nos dice que en la barra de fuera (donde había otros clientes que como digo les estaba situando ella y atendiendo) no nos podía atender, que había lista de espera y teníamos que apuntarnos. Incluso le dijimos que estábamos en la mesa de estos dos chicos que nos dijeron de ponernos en su mesa y no quiso atendernos. Evidentemente aquí llego el problema de falta de comunicación en el trabajo. Primero entre compañeros, dado que uno nos dijo que no había lista y ella que si. Y entre ellos y los clientes, puesto que sabían y nos veían allí durante 45 minutos y no tuvieron la decencia de decírnoslo antes. Para colmo, la única solución que nos daban era que nos apuntara en la lista, teniendo que esperar otros 45 minutos más con todos los que ya teníamos por delante, sabiendo que nosotras llevábamos casi una hora allí. Encima nos culpaban a nosotras de su mala organización y no nos dieron ninguna solución. Contestaciones con malos modos y la frase final : “que pongan una reclamación y que se vayan ya”. He trabajo muchos años en hostelería, es decir, se lo que es el estrés mal pagado y los encontronazos, pero no es forma de tratar a los clientes. Pésimos...

But don't worry the service is super quick and tables do become available sooner than you think🤗

I big heads up to the waiting team especially José "with the beard" super alert and proficient in everything he does.🎉 We even ordered a beer for him to enjoy a break at our table🍺🎉

Atmospher the tops, service the tops food well I can't say more than FAB BU LOUS!!

A must visit if in El Palmar just for the vibe alone. Great job well-done guys.🤗
