Fleca Parés — Restaurant in Vilafranca del Penedès

I want to make a distinction between the bakery and café.

In my opinion, Pares bakes the best bread in Vilafranca. I'm familiar with the bread from Rius, Enrich and Granier, but I think this place is better than all of them. The bread isn't as dry as the above mentioned bakeries. For this I'd give them five stars.

As for the café, well I can say the coffee is great and my partner thinks the hot chocolate is amazing because of how thick it is. The pastries and cakes are also wonderful, but the service and waiting time is a disappointment. Each time I come here I know I'll be waiting awhile before even placing my order. It's not because the staff, it's just that the procedure of running the café/bakery...

We love coming here. You can enjoy good coffee and delicious coca con crema. Their salty coca’s are also delicious with a great variety of choices. They warm them up nicely under the grill. We love their breads which they can also cut more fine if you ask. Will come back for many years to this traditional...

Una Fleca con pastas buenas y un servicio al cliente lamentable. Parecen creer que un producto correcto les exime de un buen trato al cliente. En cuanto al café, podrían aprender a hacerlo, no cuesta tanto formar a tu equipo para hacer un café bien hecho. Lentos, no escuchan al cliente, y despectivos en formas de ofrecer el producto. En conjunto valoro por la experiencia vivida, una experiencia que no compensa una pasta hecha de forma correcta, tanto por el trato recibido, el trato observado al resto de clientes, así como un café digno de bar de carretera.

Una lastima de que lugares con tanta "apariencia", se queden en eso, y pierdan el trato al cliente, que es lo que realmente hace que la experiencia sea buena o mala,...
