This bar has seating outside on the pavement and by the street and is dog-friendly. When we arrived, around 19.45, there was no table for three available, but we were asked to return in 30 minutes when one would be available. We did so and our table was ready and the waitress remembered us (or the dog!) and was friendly and attentive. The bar offers and excellent selection of cocktails, beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks and the menu has a reasonably extensive list of tapas. We ordered drinks (beers and a red wine) and they arrived promptly and also included water with ice for our dog although we hadn't requested it - a nice touch. The tapas was very good, especially the octopus on top of sliced potato with paprika. We also had cod croquets, patatas bravas, fried chicken with two sauces and some salad. All came in good sized portions and were piping hot. The food was tasty and very enjoyable and four dishes with salad was plenty for three people in need of dinner. Inside, the restaurant had a bar and a few more tables. The lighting and vibe was cocktail bar/club and everywhere was very clean. The facilities were day clean and tidy. Given the quality and quantity of food and the service we received the bill was reasonable for a relatively central location. Definitely worth a return visit especially if we have our canine friend with us as not all places...
Read moreThe food here is delicious! I tried a variety of dishes including croquettes, salads, fondue and risotto. All of them were thoroughly enjoyable.
The space itself is modern and appealing and the tables and chairs were comfortable. As the name suggests, the restaurant is central and easy to get to on foot.
It took some time to be initially served, but once the first food arrived on the table, everything else came in a timely manner.
The only drawback is the price. It is expensive, but I think the quality matches the cost. This is a great place to come to celebrate something special, but in my case, not a place I could afford to...
Read moreReally nice place. The reason for the 4/5 star review is that dinner took a lot longer than it should have. We ordered food at a time when everyone else orders drink...630pm and it took almost an hour to get the main course. That being said the food was really good. Beef cheeks in cab sauce (11euros) and really nice ceviche (17euros)...great local wine and cava by the glass for an excellent price (see picture). The homemade croquettes were small but excellent...well worth the money. Wheelchair accessible but bathrooms...
