Jávea is very much a town of plenty... Plenty of choice, plenty of restaurants and takeaways, and with that, plenty of substandard establishments also... This place, I am so pleased to say, stands out from the crowd! A mixture of old and new, Japan is known for its cutting edge tech.. And this come in the form of a self navigating waiter(ess) with cats ears, playing AC/DC whilst delivering your food directly to your table! Taking your food off and pressing "finished" on its face, sends it scuttling back to the kitchen! Nice tech gimmick that is actually useful!! The traditional side balances out In equal measure... Each dish served was freshly prepared, constructed and presented looking like it had just slipped from the latest edition of 'Food & Dining' The bowls of Ramen were plentiful and rich in flavour whilst leaving you feeling you'd 'eaten a bowl of goodness' as my wife put it. So in love with taste and textures as I am, I opted for the taster menu.. delicate portions of everything on the menu, allowing the diner a full on exploration of Japanese tapas!! Finding dishes you liked, you were actively encouraged to have another portion or two, or three!! The food stopped when I did!! Yakibuta (Char siu) heaven!! The owners are warm and friendly and adding to all this experience, if you fancy creating your own dishes?? they have also opened a Japanese themed supermarket 500m further down the road selling everything from exotic fresh fruit and vegetables, to kitchen aids, to a can of Japanese fizzy pop!! If you fancy something refreshingly different... Don't hesitate, but best to book a table as it...

Upon arrival, we received a warm welcome from the waitress who seated us at a round table outside, enhancing the sociable atmosphere.
Dealing with various dietary needs among our group—two vegetarians, a pescatarian, and others without dietary restrictions—was handled seamlessly. Our drinks, efficiently served by the robotic waitress Ruby, with human assistance, added a wonderful charming touch to our delightful evening.
The starters arrived promptly and were fresh and delightful. The main courses, including the Chihiro Ramen for myself, lived up to their reputation. The complexity of the broth, along with the homemade kimchi and hand-pulled noodles, created a perfect harmony of flavors.
The owner's gesture of complimentary sake as the evening concluded further elevated the homely hospitality of the restaurant. It felt more like a home than a dining establishment, offering an unparalleled experience. Chihiro Ramen, tucked away on the Arenal in Jávea, is a true hidden gem deserving of a visit if you're...
