The worst pizza I've ever had.

I placed an order via WhatsApp to collect my takeaway pizza at 8.30pm. I received a message from the owner at 8.20pm saying my pizza was ready. That's ten minutes early I thought, so I hurried down to collect it - arriving at 8.25/8.30. The owner looks annoyed and says it's been waiting on the counter since 8pm. I said I ordered it for 8.30 and he said "No, you said 8pm". We both check our phones which of course says 8.30. No apology from him - he just says "I got the timing wrong". So I say "If it's been sitting there for half an hour, will it be cold?" He says, "No it will be fine - it's been waiting in the oven."

I get home and the pizza is freezing cold and the dough is like a hard biscuit. I send a message to the owner saying it's cold and I'm disappointed. Also hardly any toppings (I ordered the Italiano which was supposed to have serrano ham, mozzarella, pecorino). One of the most expensive pizzas on the menu but very little taste. Might as well have been eating (cold) cardboard.

I don't get a reply from the owner for about half an hour, by which time I have eaten the dissatisfying pizza. I finally get a reply and ask for a refund. He says you can have another pizza if you come and pick it up. Honestly, I don't think it would be much better even if it was hot, so I politely decline. I ask again if I can have a refund and he says the refund is the pizza. Very unhelpful.

Oh what a hidden secret! Doesn’t look much from the outside but once you try the food you will be back!!!! We booked in advance as it was our anniversary and the owner even made us a beautiful heart shaped dark fruit tart. He didn’t force it on us, even said we could take it away but we enjoyed it there and then! Wife is a vegetarian and was well catered for and owner was willing to adapt the menu as required. So welcoming, we will be back. Give them a chance and you will be won over by the owner that took over last...

NO RECOMENDADO PARA CELIACOS. HUYE SI ERES CELIACO. Soy celiaca, desde hace muchísimos años y además soy MUY disciplinada. Lo que me pasó el sábado pasado no me había pasado nunca: se equivocaron con mi pizza y me comí casi una pizza CON GLUTEN (pensándome yo que era sin gluten). Nada más llegar avisé al camarero que era celiaca, de hecho pedimos una ensalada caprese sin gluten y seguidamente pedimos una pizza sin gluten. Cuando llevaba casi media pizza, le pregunté al camarero si la pizza era sin gluten y SOPRESA, al camarero se le había olvidado apuntar que era sin gluten. (No me lo podía creer) Inmediatamente me fui al lavabo y antes de llegar a el, el dueño del local me pregunta si soy muy o poco celiaca, disculpe que le diga pero en la enfermedad celiaca NO HAY GRADOS DE INTOLERANCIA. En general la experiencia fue nefasta, nos sentamos a las 22h y nos tomaron nota a las 22:30h y el primer plato lo sacaron a las 11:10h y la pizza casi a las 23:30h. Los camareros iban demasiado saturados, aturdidos y súper acelerados sin estar centrados en los comensales, de hecho casi todos padecíamos por ellos, se tropezaban mil veces. Para mi fue algo TERRIBLE, no recomiendo acudir a este bar siendo celiaco. Pasé una noche terrible, la experiencia fue nefasta, ademas que la respuesta del bar dejó mucho que desear, textualmente el dueño me dijo “todos nos podemos equivocar”, pero la celiaquía no se puede meter la pata, si vas a meter la pata, por favor, evita ofrecer platos sin gluten. Juegas con nuestra salud. TERRIBLE...
