L´Almadrava Javea — Restaurant in Xàbia / Jávea

I've been frequenting this restaurant lately because of the prices. Very, very reasonable drinks prices considering they are just set back from the front line. The new addition at the corner looks lovely and the new tables and chairs create a very inviting atmosphere. They could do with a few more sun shades in the extended area. The sun is quite brutal at midday, and I'm sure they would attract more customers if they had suitable shade for people to sit under. The staff can sometimes be a bit distracted. When you can attract their attention, they are pleasant and helpful. Perhaps they just need to circulate a little more frequently outside. I haven't tried many items off the menu, but what I have tried was very acceptable. Always seem to be very popular with large groups and are quite adaptable to changing the seating plan to accommodate last minute...

Worst ever lunch experience will never go back again. Went with my sister and her husband. Her husband ordered a salad (fig) which were actually dried tiny figs. My sister ordered lamb chops, me the meatballs with chips and my brother in law garlic prawns. My brother in law got his prawns finished them, then my sister got her lamb chops. I waited and waited for my main course meatballs with chips which arrived after ages of waiting cold. The other two had already finished their main courses. I sent my meatballs back and said no thank you to them did not want them. They then arrived half hour later and I sent them back saying I did not want them. Ordered a water did not arrive asked the waiter again and still didn’t arrive. Waitress sooo miserable. Will never go back nearly €50 for a meal I didn’t even have. I really wish the manager...

Atención nefasta, si pudiera puntuar con 0 estrellas sin duda lo haría. Fuimos a comer varias amigas y tuvimos una mala experiencia. Llegamos, pedimos un menú y tardaron en traernos los primeros entrantes 45 minutos, cosa que no había mucha gente comiendo a esas horas y algunos camareros estaban incluso parados y fumando. Uno de los platos que pedimos fueron unos mejillones y cuando dejaron el plato en la mesa, me vino una olor bastante fuerte y desagradable. Empezamos a comer y tuvimos que dejar de comerlos porque no estaban en buen estado y algunos estaban sin cocer. Para colmo, viene el camarero pregunta que nos había pasado y en vez de solucionarlo, pasa olímpicamente perdiendo uno de los entrantes que pedimos. Después nos trajeron los platos principales que eran una fideuá bastante aceptable pero las chuletas de cordero parecían radiografías de lo finas y pequeñas que eran. Llego el momento de los postres y lo que más me mato es que no tenían casi opciones. Solo había tarta de chocolate y flan.Una de mis amigas tiene intolerancia a la lactosa y no pudo comer nada de postre porque lo que tenían era todo con leche. Solo ofrecían opción de que pidiera cafe. También perdimos un postre por no tener más opciones. Sinceramente me pareció una tomadura de pelo. Al quejarnos de todo no nos cobraron uno de los menús pero para mi eso no es la solución a esto.O mejoran muchos aspectos o perderán a...
