Pebre Negre — Restaurant in Xàtiva

Had the Paella Valenciano with some friends. It was delicious but we needed more friends because it's a lot of food.

The waiter recommended the Dulce de tres leches as the house best dessert. I have to agree, it was very good.

The service was top notch. The staff was by enough to take good care of us but not, too much.

Nice environment, noise level and comfort.

A very nice place to have a well deserved lunch after hiking around the Xativa castle. The fish fideuà (a short noodle paella 🥘) was amazing, one of the best I’ve ever tried. Paparas bravas was excellent as well. Yes, it’s a bit pricy for Spain and probably for Xativa particularly, but it is worth it. It has the restaurant and a take away bar next to it. In the take away bar the food is cheap but unfortunately the quality is reflected on the price. We bought 5 of the dishes and only 2 were good. The chicken was raw and they did not offer us a compensation. The cod croquetas were heated on a plastic container that was melted on the bottom.The Paella with duck and mushrooms...
