Restaurant La Tagliatella | CC.Plaza Mayor, Xàtiva — Restaurant in Xàtiva

Last night, I went to this restaurant for a meal with my family and sadly we were rather disappointed. I have previously been to "La Tagliatella" in Valencia and it was great. I am afraid the same cannot be said for this branch. On arrival, we were greeted and shown to our table and our drinks order was taken. Then our order was taken too. It was after this that everything started to go downhill. After having waited half an hour, we decided to ask how long the (2) pizzas were going to take and we were told that there was going to be a slight delay. (I believe we should have been informed of this when we were ordering the pizzas). While we were waiting a couple came and sat behind us and they too ordered pizzas. To my surprise, their pizzas came out before ours and they had ordered theirs 40 minutes after we did. Is this a delay or just complete disorganisation? It was one hour and fifteen minutes until we got our food. It also took staff 10 minutes to bring us 2 beers ( although I suppose they were brewing it). Food was nice, but I was at the point of walking out because the service was appalling. I would recommend "La Tagliatella", but certainly not the one in Plaza Mayor in Xativa. I suppose if it took you an hour and fifteen minutes to bring us the pizzas, it is going to take you a lot longer to answer this. (I am not even expecting one). I also found a hair on my pizza and I didn't see that on the ingredients list...

If we could give these guys a 10 we would. Had an absolute awesome early dinner. Between the 2 of us we had Risotto with shrimp and mushrooms, pizza and for an appetizer we had bread with seasoned olive oil. Wow! what an absolute delicious meal this was. The Risotto was perfection perfectly cooked and the Margherita pizza was a absolute delight of sauce, cheese with the perfect blend of seasoning. The ingredients were of high quality and you can tell the kitchen takes pride in what they serve to their customers. The servers was pleasant and even gave us an English menu when they realized that our Spanish wasn't the best. They were attentive even though they were extremely busy. At the end of dinner we asked for a to go box for the pizza we couldn't finish and it came back in to us in a box inside of a cloth zip up bag with their logo. What a clever way to advertise their restaurant This was our first time there but it will not be our last. Well done on a wonderful dinning experience. If you haven't been before please go! La experiencia de mi hijo y su pareja ha sido MALISIMA, hace un mes fueron a comer y la comida NEFASTA, LA BOTELLA DEL AGUA TODA SUCIA DE HECHO REALIZO FOTO DE ELLO, EN EL PLATO PELOS PEQUEÑOS; El comportamiento del camarero fue amable pero esto procedía de cocina y la botella de el almacén o donde proviniera comieron apenas nada y se marcharon rápido pues por tema de trabajo tenían muchísima prisa y la comida se quedó casi todo en los platos; el día siguiente la pareja de mi hijo llamo al Restaurante para transmitir la queja y la remitio a alguien por encima de él, este mismo señor el cual tenía algo más cargo llamo y le dijo que se acercasen a Xativa para hablar con ellos y estos mismos fueron y las palabras fueron las mismas que lo sentían y ya está segunda vez que van a Xativa, la pareja de mi hijo llama al restaurante y les dice oye mira me habéis hecho ir para pedirme disculpas y este señor contesta-AHH VALE PUES NO SABIA CÓMO HABIAS QUEDADO CON ÉL, BUENO YO POR MI PARTE PODEIS VENIR A CENAR O COMER GRATIS MARTES O MIÉRCOLES QUE ESTARÉ YO, y dice me llamo ERIC SIMPLEMENTE VENIR DECIR VUESTRO NOMBRE Y YA ESTÁ, vale pues la semana pasada por tema y horarios de trabajo no fueron pero hoy Martes han decidido ir a cenar bueno pues al llegar ellos le dicen al camarero mira somos nosotros la pareja que les paso tal y tal y estamos invitados y este chico llama al señor llamado ERIC y contesta ESO YO NO LO HE DICHO, esto ha sido un hecho el cual no se puede permitir y las responsabilidades hay que saber asumirlas cuando sucede algo de ésta índole y para nada haces ir a una Pareja con la que habéis quedado simplemente para reparar un daño que este restaurante creo, no obstante y dicho esto ciertamente es que los comensales en su día se hicieron efectivos por alimentos que estaban incomibles y depositados en la vajilla con algo de falta de higiene por ello mismo debéis de responder de ello y no haciendo cómo si no hubiese ocurrido nada, estas cosas no pueden pasar en un restaurante me indigna totalmente lo ocurrido UNA MALA EXPERIENCIA Y MAS LA FALTA DE RESPONSABILIDADES POR PARTE...
