Pizza Hut - Dambulla — Restaurant in Central Province

The staff at the pizza hut is not only very welcoming but also exceptionally understanding. From the moment I walked in, they made sure that my needs were understood with perfection, leaving me feeling valued and satisfied. Furthermore, the preparation of my pizza was not just done properly, but with great attention to detail. The result was a pizza that was not only well cooked but also incredibly delicious. As a vegetarian, it's often challenging to find clean and vegetarian options, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that Pizza Hut had a variety of options that catered to my dietary preferences. Very dissapointing customer care services. All other pizza hut outlets that i have visited are taking dine in orders at the table. But at Dambulla branch, we have to place the order by the cashier. We have waited long time but nobody informed us or not displayed a notice about this altered procedure till i asked. They have billed the order wrong and have to order again. Most dissapointingly, later we have noticed that they are taking orders at the table for foreigners 🙄. There were 5 people in our group and given only four glasses with beverages. Provided one following asking. Surprisingly, they have given 4 plates for the group of 5 people again. We were fed up on asking and shared one plate with my son. The last time I had Pizza Hut was almost 10 years ago, and while in Sri Lanka, my friends and I spontaneously decided to try it here.

Honestly, I was pretty disappointed—not because of the toppings, flavor, or ingredients, but because of the crust. It felt way too dense and thick, even though it wasn’t supposed to be a thick crust—it was just their regular dough.

I’ve gotten used to thin-crust pizza, so eating this felt like I was just chewing on a big chunk of bread.
