Disappointing Experience - Not Recommended

As someone with over 6 years of experience in the restaurant field, I was extremely disappointed with my recent visit to SAMBOLE DAMBULLA. Despite its reputation, I cannot in good conscience recommend this establishment to anyone.First and foremost, the food quality was subpar. While they offer a variety of dishes, I can only vouch for the rice and curry, as I refuse to recommend anything else due to concerns about excessive oil and chemicals. It's evident that health considerations are not a priority here.Furthermore, the atmosphere was far from pleasant.

The loud, high-tech music blaring from midday till afternoon was overwhelming and completely inappropriate for a dining setting. It felt more like a festival than a restaurant, making it nearly impossible to enjoy a meal in peace. Finally, a five-star restaurant in Dambulla.🥳 We were heading from Meerigama through Highway towards Dambulla. We were very hungry and searching for a restaurant to have dinner. It was 9.15 when we reached Dambulla and at that time we could hardly see an open restaurant. Then we found this SAMBOLE. It looks like a small one from the appearance. The atmosphere is clean and pleasant and you'll feel like you are in a traditional clay hut. You can see a large variety of Sri Lankan traditional buffet there where you can taste whatever you crave for. 😍 Price list is displayed at the cashier and you can have Rice & curries, Biriyani, all kinds of Fried rice, Nasigoreng etc. Furthermore, you can have your lunch/dinner/breakfast from the open buffet. A few years ago i had lunch at Sambole restaurant in Dambulla.actually it's was really really amazing.no words.i'm truly happy with that experience.but unfortunately i had a very bad experience today at Sambole restaurant in Dambulla.i went to the restaurant around 11.30am this morning.There were about 4 or 5 employees at that time in restaurant.but no employee responded even though i stayed for a while.after that i ordered rice and curry.They mentioned in the price display that one is RS.500.00.but then they said that one is Rs.650.00.no issues.i paid for them.also i didn't get PAPADAM with rice and curry.as well as staff BEHAVIOUR 0%.this time i'm very disappointed with the experience i got today.
