Our dining experience at Concept La Mer in Mirissa was nothing short of extraordinary. This restaurant stands out as a highlight in our culinary adventures across various countries.

From the moment we stepped in, we were mesmerized by the ambiance and the welcoming vibe of the place. The food and cocktails, however, were the true stars of the show. It’s not an overstatement to say that we were completely blown away by the quality and taste of every dish.

The cocktails deserve a special mention for their freshness and unique selection.The catch of the day, a red snapper, was memorable as well. It was cooked to perfection, retaining the natural flavors and moisture, making every bite an experience to savor. The pastas were equally impressive, cooked perfectly and flavored beautifully.

Our love for the food was so strong that we found ourselves returning for a second night in a row, a testament to the exceptional culinary skills of the chefs at Concept La Mer.

It was my longest visit of the restaurant in Sri Lanka in one month. And no, I didn’t want to be there that long… We ordered one appetizer, two main dishes and water. The water was on the table quickly. But appetizer took already half an hour.. The taste of it was good. Then we waited another hour to main dishes to come. Which was 1.5 hour in total. We ordered cashew curry which was delicious and mahi mahi which was complete disaster. The fish was tough I almost couldn't chew it. I already waited that long and I was really hungry so I ate it, otherwise I would complain but I didn’t want to wait for another meal… After we asked for the bill, and we waited for another 10 minutes, we realized that is better to go straight to the counter to pay it.

The restaurant was almost full, but still it doesn’t mean that customer should wait that long.
