Suncoast Chillout & Japanese Restaurant is a great beachside spot with a unique setup featuring various food stands offering a wide range of options. Located directly by the beach, it provides plenty of seating with a beautiful view of the ocean, making it a relaxing place to enjoy a meal or drink.

The ordering process is convenient - waitstaff bring the different menus, and you can order everything directly through them. After browsing the extensive selection, we decided to try the Pasta Arrabiata and some burgers. The food arrived in about 10 minutes, which was impressively quick. The burger was generously sized, though the portion of fries was quite small, almost countable on one hand. Overall, the food tasted fine, nothing extraordinary but satisfying for a casual beachside meal.

They run also ice cream shop next door and the ice cream are amazing!

Sushi is tasteless and super small pieces, the rice is badly prepared and is falling apart. Food is overpriced especially for those small portions - we paid for 4 rolls (23pcs) and 3 fresh juices 15400 LKR and we felt like having just an appetizer :(

In the end we were told we cant pay by card. After running to 2 ATMs (they were empty/broken) we asked them to try with the card (we saw they have terminal/machine which was just not working with the previous customer). They agreed and the payment went without any trouble (we felt it was a lie).

The view and location is amazing but you can find other places...
