Really great fresh seafood, 3000 for a kilo of cooked big shrimp. Such great value. Cooked in a nice ginger kinda Chinese style sauce, not too spicy, with a few small veg mixed in. Large beer 800 and mega cold, lovely staff. Pick your own fish and they will cook it. Zero complaints. The bathroom is also awesome, such a great idea on how to go about having a loo on the beach. A huge water tank, conctrle floor, shower, plants, urinal and loo. Sink had no water at the time I was there, but I was very pleasantly supprised by the whole thing. Good on you guys.

They asked me 1000lkr for 120g calamari. (He didn’t even check the weight, I asked to check the weight, just randomly asked price) Then I said I saw reviews with price, 1000 is too much. He said it’s one year before. Actually that review is 3weeks ago. Then he changed the price 500, still I thought too much .he started making excuses, gas for cooking blah blah blah. but I wanted to try so I accept 500. But finally he said go away , go to another restaurant. I think they guess where people are from and randomly put price. Such a cheater.

We had an amazing experience at FISHPOINT in Weligama. Dining right by the beach and being able to personally choose our fish with guidance added a unique touch. We opted for a Tiger fish, half a kilo of shrimps, and a crab – all of which were outstanding, cooked quickly, and incredibly delicious. The service was excellent, addressing our needs, especially with mosquitoes around. Shiral provided exceptional assistance. Highly recommended – we'll definitely be returning for more.

Very good portions for a fair price. Fish lies at display and can be selected from there. I rate 5 stars for the fish, but any side dish I tried was terrible in taste, really. Be it the cucumber salad, grilled vegetables or boiled vegetables. Also do not make the mistake and order a cocktail. I had the "Mojito" which was awfully bad: warm, no mint, one slice of lemon, no soda. It was basically rum with something like lemonade. All in all a good place to eat fish and fish only.

If you love seafood and want something affordable this is the right place! It serves fresh fish and is right next to the beach! We had 2 lobsters, a big fish (red sniper), 1 kg of shrimps, calamari, and some appetizers (grilled tomatoes- grilled pineapples- a salad- rice and fried) and ended up paying 26000 pesos (80$) It s not a fancy place but it s great seafood! We went twice in 3 days. I recommend it. P.S : always negotiate on the price of fish before getting seated.

Today was our third dinner at this lovely place right at the beach. We tried the fish, crab, prawns and calamari. Every dish was very unique and gorgeous. They work with fresh ingredients and different herbs. The waiters are so friendly and helpful. They will help you with the side dishes and recommend the best options. We will definitely come back to this place. I would rather say it was the best seafood restaurant in Sri Lanka. You have to try. Thank you so much!
