Swadishta Restaurant ( CRYSTAL INN) STAY & DINE-Vegetarian Hotel In Chickmagalur — Restaurant in Karnataka

Hotel Swadisht situated inside hotel crystal inn. People who are not staying in hotel can also come and have Food. It's a pure vegetarian restaurant. Food is no doubt yummy. Presentation and taste is superb. Full points to the cook. Staff service is also commendable. Saw female waitresses which is not normal, and the polite attitude they have towards customer is something so good.

Only thing which we didn't like is .. management, we are not staying in the hotel and we came to have dinner here today, and it seems that was the reason they ignored our order. we were the first customer to enter the dining hall and we got food almost at last. Drinks came after the food was serve when we specifically told that we want it in start. We have ordered soya briyani they gave us some other biryani that too after 1hr of placing order. Took 1.5hr for us to complete the dinner due to late service and wrong order. We will not be coming again, as food was good but due to poor management the service got impacted. And such things spoil the mood

We arrived at the restaurant on Saturday, June 15th, at 4:30 PM. The staff informed us that only Chinese dishes were available since the Chinese chef was the only one working. We requested some Chinese gravy for the fried rice, but it was unavailable. We later noticed from their uniforms that the staff serving us were trainee hotel management students, possibly including the chef, though we're not certain. The vegetable fried rice and Schezwan fried rice were too dry and undercooked. Only the Gobi Manchurian and tomato soup were somewhat acceptable. The restaurant's name does not reflect the quality of the dishes. Additionally, the housekeeping was very poor, with a shabby hand wash area and water leaking from the basins. The prices of the dishes are too high and not worth the money. I definitely would not recommend...

The restaurant is run by Crystal Inn and I have to say it is one of those restaurants which is doing things simply but nailing it in all fronts.

Let us start with service. They have a lot of tables and ~4-5 waiters to take your orders and serve you and they are all professionals. Super friendly staff, and on time service. The staff also helps you find the best dish according to your taste and mood.

The food they serve is purely vegetarian and is super delicious. One dish is good enough for two people and the prices are also commensurate with the taste and portion. No complains there. I ordered Garlic Butter Naan, Paneer Kali Mirchi, and Lemon Soda.

The food was prepared and served hot and I enjoyed my food thoroughly. I am definitely going to visit this place again whenever I am in Chikkamagaluru and...
