Gujju — Restaurant in Borås kommun

Two of us shared one butter murgh and one crispy duck, two garlic naans and rice. Let's start of with the crispy duck, it was not crispy at all, rather it felt like it had been refrigerated and then heated. But that was not the worst. The duck had a mix of raw-pink to grayish tones, I think the colors speak for themselves; it was bland, dry and boring. The butter murgh was good, basically a mix between stroganoff and curry(+0.5 star). We also tried alcohol free drinks that were really good! (+0.5 star). The garlic naan was drenched in butter and a bit too soggy for my taste, the fat was dripping from my fingers. The staff was generally service minded, understanding and took of the duck from the check (+1 star). However this experience was pretty awful and we did not want to order anything else even though we could probably eat a couple of more menu items. The young girl serving us saw us when we arrived, turned her back to us and walked straight into the kitchen. Did not give a smile even once, no "welcome" no nothing. Just a short "hi" when we stood at the counter.

The food was delicious but the plates were so small so both my girlfriend and I were still hungry after finishing them. We asked for more "to at least not being hungry when we leave". The waitress stared at her like she was an idiot, inspected our plates and replied "so you are not full?". We did get seconds (which is why I didn't rate the place a 2) but no "here you are, you're welcome"...

The tasting menu was worth the ~450kr price. We made some adjustments to the menu, but it was an overall positive experience.

One could have wished for a bit more punch in the flavors, but only the asparagus left us lacking of taste.

If the service would've told us what every menu item was, I'd given 4 stars. This time the food was just brought to table and once we were just told that "we were put of XXXX, so we replaced with this.

"This" was mussels and they were really good, but we would have liked to know a bit more...
