Mossens Pizzeria — Restaurant in Göteborgs Stad

So , we reached pizza shop around 9.00 pm as Google was showing closing time as 10 pm. We were discussing pizza to be ordered within ourselves and someone on counter very rudely said 25 mins. Without even explaining what he meant by 25 mins. We again confirmed closing time on Google is 10 pm .. are u not open till 10pm ? Again he rudely answered only with words "25 mins". We were there with children tired so we continued to order 2 pizzas and 1 fries and person again mentioned .. only 2 plates u can take for sallad.. which we felt rude and unnecessory... considering we were with children and even otherwise.. Foodwas served after around 15mins approx.. Then it was around 9.25 pm .. we saw some people still ordering , some seating and enjoying their drinks so triwd to make another order as pizza was very thin and was not enough for us and this person declined our order. We accepted his decision and continued to finish our dinner. He reminded us restaurant is closing. Still we can see people seating in restaurant but we decided to wrap up again respecting his decision for us to leave. As we were with children it was taking a while for us to wrap up... and suddenly some staff came and started taking our plates without asking whether we are finished or not... 😅.. .. we were yet to finish our food... we were surely not some drunkyards disturbing his restaurant.. 😂 we were with family. I did not understand why he was so eager to take us out of restaurant...we left and looked back ... Still peoplwere enjoying there drinks and chatting peacefully in restaurant. My friend who recommended this restaurant was very shocked with this treatment. He is regular there. Comment on Food : very less chicken 5-6 pieces of chicken in each pizza, base was very overcooked dry .. No taste in sauce. I am still in shock what we did to deserve such bad treatment 😅😂. Never coming...

Many years ago I lived in Sweden and quickly learned Sweden is a criminally underrated pizza country. I traveled all over most the country every where Stockholm and South. As a life long pizza fan I tried probably around 30 pizza places in several major cities. No pizza truly exemplifies the brilliance of Swedish Kebab pizza quite like Mossens. This will always be the restaurant I remember most fondly of any pizza place or any restaurant for that matter from my time in Sweden. Incredible meat and sauces, perfect crust, and kind staff. I’ve had some of the best pizzas in the USA in New York and San Francisco and I would hold Mossen’s right up with some of the pizza places widely considered to be the best in the US! Mossen’s is truly world class and a true Göteborg and Swedish...

I’ve been a customer to Mossens pizzeria for at least 10 years and just now i noticed that something bad has happened to them. It might be financial difficulties but that does not legitimize the pizza i ordered. I ordered a Kebab pizza, nr 63 and got so little kebab that i went back to the kitchen again and asked them if they perhaps made a mistake. They answered politely and showed me how they put a little bit more kebab on now. Thereafter i just thanked him and left. When i got home i now see that this is the pizza i got for roughly 120kr.. (see the picture). I might as well have bought the dough only and put on some meet on my own when i got home instead..
