The restaurant is inviting and has a great location in completely new condition.
Unfortunately, the experience is dragged down by the behavior of the staff. We sat outside on a busy evening where all the tables outside were occupied while there were few guests inside. We got the last available table and ordered drinks, starter and main course. Shortly after receiving the drinks, we experienced a waiter taking a chair from our table without asking to form a new table for a larger party behind us. We didn't mind giving the chair away, but it would have been nice if the staff had asked us first. It felt unprofessional and disrespectful, especially since the atmosphere in the restaurant is an important part of the experience.
The appetizer was served and we enjoyed it until a waiter hurriedly removed the plate almost as we took the last bite. Even though the plate was almost empty, we weren't quite done eating. I therefore asked the waiter, a tall, slender dark-haired woman, to ask us in the future before she removes anything from the table or takes more chairs. However, her response was condescending and she laughed at our request, which was both unprofessional and disrespectful.
When the main courses arrived, we tried to enjoy them as best we could despite the uncomfortable atmosphere. However, while we were still eating, we were confronted by two people who we assume were the managers of the restaurant – an elderly woman and a man. They accused us of not treating the staff properly and implied that we were not welcome. We tried to explain the situation but received no understanding. Instead it turned into a discussion where they maintained that it was our word against the staff's and we felt attacked for no reason.
After the bosses went on their way, another table came over to us and shared that they had experienced something similar. They supported us in our criticism and also noted how unprofessional the staff had behaved. On leaving, I encouraged the staff to reflect on how they handle feedback, as it could be an opportunity for improvement.
At present, unfortunately, we cannot recommend visiting the restaurant, despite the great...
Read moreSitting next to the doors is a crime. The doors are almost constantly opened because of incoming people and than the servants spreak with them there, so the doors don't close than. And you also constantly hear the same questions and answers. They are standing very close to you.... When it is an acquintance it can take ay least 5 minutes.... It was an wet and fresh evening....
Advise: another doors or another entrance!! How do you do this in the winter?? Ee had made an reservation, I think these places are totally wrong. I have to pay the same prices ....
Its a pity, the servants are adequate, very nice and fast, the restaurant and environment are beautiful and the food and drinks really are good.
For the pizza's you must have strong hands. They are hard to cut bu maybe the knives are not...
Read moreI had an awful experience at this restaurant, and I would not recommend it to anyone. The real issue was the service. Both servers had the worst attitude I’ve ever encountered. They were dismissive, unhelpful, and seemed annoyed every time we asked for something simple. Their body language screamed they didn’t want to be there, and the constant side-eyeing was just plain rude. It felt like we were an inconvenience instead of paying customers. On top of that, they weren’t cooperative at all. When we asked for recommendations, they brushed us off. It was so bad we had to leave. Honestly, it was a shockingly bad display of customer service. Save your money and your patience—there are much better places to eat that will actually treat you with respect. I will never be...
