Icha Mochi — Restaurant in Jönköpings kommun

Super nice location near the water and the waiters/waitresses were really nice (although not all of them spoke super good English). They had a vegan chilimajo on the menu but somehow I was told they didn’t have a vegan one? Furthermore, the menu isn’t clear about what is vegan or just vegetarian, with the exception of saying that the sushi rolls can be made vegan/vegetarian (the vegan one can be seen in the picture).

The food overall was good, however, the waiting time was quite long. I really liked the spicy edamame (seen in the picture) as a snack… but it took me a while to figure out how to eat it, since you shouldn’t eat the shell (lol).

My friend had the veggo bowl; the tofu was DELICIOUS, and it was a nice mix of rice, veggies, sauce and mango!

My rolls were pretty good too, but I finished them really quickly (even while talking to friends and stuff), which was unfortunate because we had waited so long and then the eating experience was so short.

Overall pretty good for vegans, not too many options but nice...

My friend has told me about this place and we had to try it. It definitely didn't disappoint. The sushi was fresh and nice! I am very particular with sushi as I don't like strong 'fishy' tastes and smells. We had 30 pieces and there was a lot for me. The wasabi was very strong which we absolutely love! We were originally going to eat it there but last minute we changed our mind and took it away. Without hesitation they packed into a bag! The service was fast and friendly, very efficient. We were 5 people and got seated very quickly. I ordered miso soup and an 8 piece salmon nigiri sushi and it was very good. We also ordered mochi ice-cream afterwards which I had never tried before and I must say I am now a fan of it.

The atmosphere in the restaurant was also nice, I like the plastic cherry blossom in the middle as I think it adds a certain aesthetic to the restaurant.

One thing I will complain about though is that we had to walk up to the counter to order desert even though we ordered the rest at the table. Other than that it was a very good experience and would recommend this place to...
