Belmondo — Restaurant in Linköpings kommun

On holiday in Sweden, after having eaten only local food for weeks, I felt the need to eat my beloved pasta dish! Finally I found an authentic Italian restaurant, which presents its dishes with real original recipes and not revisited as I have seen in many "Italian" restaurants in Sweden! Magical location, full of colors that put you in a good mood, rather than the classic dark and gray restaurant that smells like a cemetery! Attentive, friendly, dynamic and polite staff! Top food! From pizza to pasta, from fried fish to desserts, everything is superb, including wines! I have read many reviews where they complain about the portions on the plate, but in my opinion they must have confused the restaurant, because the dishes are abundant! Furthermore, I would like to explain that Buffalo Mozzarella is not Burrata! The first has the same consistency as classic Mozzarella. The second one, on the other hand, is like a cream inside! I read a review where the buffalo mozzarella was criticized for not being liquid! 😑 I understand that not everyone knows the dishes of other countries, but this does not mean that the restaurant should be judged incorrectly. Me, my husband and my son had a lunch in this wonderful Italian restaurant. The interior is amazing, with attention to every detail, just a pleasure for the eyes, spacious and fresh. The service has been very good, we had a really nice waiter who served us perfectly. My son had a pizzetta Margherita and me and my husband had calamari fritti and pasta con vongole. The fish was tasty and the pasta sauce was cooked well, creamy, little bit spicy and with parsley freshness in it, just how I like. Just the surface of the fried calamari I would have preferred to be more crunchy and a minus point I need to give to the spaghetti because they were really overcooked (in some parts they were sticked to each other), I wish they would have been al dente. I recently dined at Belmondo in Linköping and found it to be a fairly ordinary experience. The restaurant doesn’t stand out much from others in town. I ordered the fillet mignon, which was cooked properly but lacked any distinct flavor or seasoning. The portion size was noticeably small compared to similar dishes I’ve had elsewhere. On the positive side, the Pizza Diavola was quite good, and the staff were friendly and attentive.
