Aioli Tapasbar — Restaurant in Linköpings kommun

Summary: The food is okay but not anything special, the service is decent, environment slightly below decent, but the prices are way too high.

The menu said that 3-5 tapas would be a good dinner, so I ordered 5 of them along with the drink of the night. First the drink came, which was something with peach and citrus I recall the waitress saying, but all it tasted was diluted peach liqueur. The wait wasn't long for us to get the food, which was a good point of the evening. The tables were too close which made it hard to move, and the amount of plates cluttered the table as well so it was hard to navigate just trying to eat.

First let me adress the taste of the food: It wasn't bad, but it wasn't really good either. The flavours were usually off balance, and did not provide the satisfaction you want when going out to a restaurant. Secondly, the portions were so small that you didn't really become full after eating. To get a decent size meal you'd need to eat at least 7 tapas there. This all wouldn't have been a problem if the prices weren't so insanely high for the quality. For example, I ordered a tuna/shrimp ceviche for 78 SEK which was roughly two bites, had no shrimp, and only tasted of...

Just loved this place! The potatoes were Really garlicky (yum) and were cooked in garlic infused oil. Greek salad was great but dressing could have had more acid to it, yam fries was great and aoli was tasty, having horseradish in it. Chicken squewers were ok, but not exceptional. Nachos were different but good (salsa was not great), deep fried feta was fantastic as was the deep fried cauliflower. The cheese with hot peppers was good too. We had a "self serve" table, where you oder from an app and they deliver to your table. I like that but nobody checked in on us to see how the food was or if we were missing anything. Overall great experience though. I love tasting the different dishes! The burgers looked great though we did not order that so not sure about the taste....

Ok mat, men otroligt dålig service. Undvik då Linköping har mycket bättre restauranger.

Åker ofta på tjänsteresa till Linköping och har det senaste halvåret besökt restaurangen vi två tillfällen, bägge besök med riktigt dåligt bemötande av serveringspersonal.

Senast var vi ett sällskap på 5 kollegor. Allt gick fel. 5 likadana öl blev beställda, enbart 4 kom in. Enbart 16 av 19 rätter kom in och otroligt dåligt bemötande då vi påpekade detta. Servitrisen hämtade beställningslistan och hävdade självsäkert att vi minsann fått allt vi beställt. Avslutningsvis när vi för att underlätta delade notan rakt av blev det fel och sista personen avkrävdes mer är dubbla summan.

Vid varje tillfälle blev servitrisen irriterad, himlade med ögonen. Hon skylde ifrån sig på oss och tyckte vi var jobbiga som anmärkte, ungefär som vi skulle vara glada att hon bemödade sig att jobba där.

Blev klart snackisen tillbaka till hotellet, där vi konstaterade att hon antagligen inte haft en dålig dag utan bara hade helt fel attityd för serveringsyrket.
