Decent for a Swedish sushi buffet, but a bit too expensive. Unlikely to return, though I appreciated the effort and a few standout dishes. Disclaimer: I lived in Japan for five years, so I’m probably more critical of sushi than most. I'm usually skeptical about sushi outside Japan, but I had heard good things about Aiko Sushi and decided to give it a try. I tried the all-you-can-eat buffet for 329 SEK. Unfortunately, water isn’t included — even though it’s just tap water — so unless you skip drinks, the real cost is about 339 SEK per person. Ordering is done via tablet, and food is brought directly from the kitchen — a system I liked. However, they didn’t have any wet wipes or dissafectant wipes, which felt unhygienic since sushi is often eaten with your hands. Also, the Korean-style metal chopsticks didn’t feel right for Japanese food; I would have preferred wooden Japanese ones. That said, I appreciated the Kikkoman soy sauce. For Sweden, the sushi was decent. The rice had a good vinegar balance, but the quality of the toppings was hit-or-miss. Tuna and salmon nigiri were lean and lacked flavor, while the salmon in the maki rolls was better — fattier and tastier, especially in rolls with cream cheese and avocado. The main issue was the rice in the nigiri — too much and packed too tightly, making it chewy and masking the flavor of the fish. Sashimi highlights included the unagi and the white fish. The buffet also included a wide range of other dishes like spring rolls, yakiniku, yakitori, miso soup, tempura, and edamame. A dessert like a small scoop of ice cream would’ve been a nice touch. Some notable dishes: Tempura shrimp: crispy batter, though the shrimp were small. Miso soup: tasty, but the shellfish version felt like shells added last-minute. Yakiniku: okay, but low-quality meat. Wasabi: unfortunately bad — more like spicy Play-Doh. A better horseradish-based version would elevate the food. The food came out quickly, but the quality was inconsistent. Sometimes tempura was hot and fresh, sometimes not. Some salmon tasted fresh, others less so — a bit of a mixed bag. Staff were friendly and helpful, which I appreciated. It’s okay for a Swedish sushi buffet — not omakase, not premium. But for 340 SEK per person (with drinks), I could make better sushi at home. I likely won’t return, but I do appreciate the effort, and there were definitely some highlights.

This place just opened 3 weeks ago. It is a branch of the restaurant in Lund., which we have not visited. We came here around 19.15 and the place was close to full. Book in advance. We got a lovely table by the window. The room is tall and the aqustics are not the best, but tolerable. The waitor was smiling, very helpfull and forthcoming - a very pleasent experience. We selected the "all you can eat" offer, which is very reasonably priced - cheap even, if you are very hungry. The sushi itself was awesome! These days most sushiplaces cut fish so small you cant barely see or taste it, but this place offers big, real pieces of fresh fish. The sushi was well balanced, fresh and a taste explosion. We were very satisfied. Best sushi we had in years. I highly recommend this place.

Went in person to order for takeaway, was told the food would be ready in ten minutes. The person who took my order had a manager tag on their shirt. I left to run an arrend around the corner. When I came back a different staff member asked me what I would like to order so I told him I've already ordered. He check and said that the manager didn't give the order to the kitchen, he left the order slip on the counter and that it would take another 10 minutes. Not a big deal but still annoying. The food was good no complaints on that front.

Today were there with my friend. At the entrance we were greeted by the girl’s dissatisfied face and an appraising look. Half the tables in the hall were empty and very dirty. Everywhere on the empty tables there were stains and leftover food, just in pieces. The entire staff was standing in the kitchen chatting. The guests sat nearby and ate with all this dirt, but the staff didn’t care much about it!

My friend and I said that we wanted a table for two for an hour. The waitress looked at us contemptuously, remained silent and said that: “There is no place for you here without a reservation.” All tables are reserved." We asked what time was the latest check-in because we wanted to eat and leave immediately, but she repeated that “There is no table for you here.”

I myself work in a restaurant and I know that you can offer guests some kind of alternative, for example, a table for an hour or wait until a seat becomes available. Because otherwise the establishment loses customers and money.

I will never go back there and I don’t advise anyone to go to a place where you are...

Bad service. Rude staff. Deceptive all-you-can eat practices. I said hello to a friend and his family who were eating and the server told me all his friends had to order if I wanted the all-you-can eat buffet. I was not even with them nor was I planning to sit with them. I bumped into them and said hello for a while, but the man responsible refused to give me the all-you-can eat buffet. Avoid because they can’t seem to even really sell what they market without a million “but’s.”

Tony was very deceiving also. He had pushed for me to get the buffet originally but when he saw me say hello to my friends and I had already started filling out my order on the paper, he took the paper away from me and told me it was not for me anymore. Very strange and bold choice for him to feel comfortable doing + saying to a customer. Trust me, avoid this place. They don’t have the chips they are selling when it comes...
