Asien — Restaurant in Malmö kommun

The food was ok but the service was not nice- we came earlier then many who got their service before us, the tables next to us got napkins and also the sauces, chopsticks and cutlery but we didn't get anything with our food, basically two bowls of soup, so we had to ask the neighbouring table to share with us their things. And the worst was that I asked a glass of tab water with my order. I had to ask one extra time for the glass of tab water to be served and when we came to pay at the counter the waiter with bad service charged me 10 extra sek for the tab water. In Sweden you don't charge for tab water (unless in some night clubs). Except rude service and so so food I find it non ethical if i order in english you assume that you can fool the person and charge extra for things that are free. Hope that 10 sek is worth the bad review and lost customer that will never come back or recommend this...

Update, 2019: This place is the best restaurant in Malmö. Not “just for Vietnamese cuisine”—the best. Restaurang Asien has served gorgeous, delicious food with unfailing consistency for YEARS. For any restaurant to do that is a triumph.

Best Vietnamese food I've had in my 5 years of living here! I'm not Vietnamese, but it tasted just like the stuff I grew up with in New York/New Jersey. The pho's flavors were perfectly balanced, the noodles had just the right texture, and the meatballs were incredible––5/5. And I finally drank coconut water that tasted like actual coconut water! (Their coconut water tastes like the kind I used to get on Canal Street: a chilled young coconut cut open upon purchase.) Plus, the staff was sweet, and our food came very quickly. This is possibly the most authentic tasting food from an Asian country that I've had since my arrival...

Worst service!!! One of the the waiter made us feel not really welcome there, the way he look at us, talk and treat us like trash and that's super weird! There is one waiter that can speak Vietnamese is really sweet but I want to make sure that the other one are the rude waiter. The food was great but it's not really cheap so of course we expect better services. I believe that some of other customers sitting on other table feel the same way on...
