Taste of Thailand — Restaurant in Malmö kommun

Am so glad I decided to try this place today. The food was so good! Had the Nam Tok Nuea with 'thai stark' option and the chilli really gave the dish a kick. Am already scrutinising the menu trying to decide what to order next.

Update - pad thai takeaway on 19 Aug 2023 - 1 star: I was inspired to cook my own pad thai after having the pad thai from this restaurant. According to the menu: pad thai "Wokade risnudlar med ägg, purjolök, morot, böngroddar och krossade jordnötter" with choice of protein. I received a generous portion of oily rice noodles with a few prawns. I found a few small slices of carrots and the rare vegetable strands. And the egg.... couldn't really identify any visible pieces, but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt that maybe there were some minute crumbs that require more detailed scrutiny. Never again - the worst pad thai I remember...

Where do you go when you arrive in a strange city on a Saturday evening, and find that the hotel restaurant is closed? The answer is to use Google Maps, and after a couple of false starts we arrived on foot at the Taste of Thailand in Malmo. We initially thought it might be takeaway only, but no, they have a few tables and comfortable chairs. The very helpful staff provided us with menus in English, and the three of us chose different starters and main dishes all of which were excellent. A choice of bottled beers was also available, and overall the price was very reasonable for the delicious food we enjoyed. I would have no hesitation in recommending...

Very delicious, authentic and super friendly owners! My order was freshly prepared and tasted straight out of the wok, chiken was moist and the flavours filled my tastebuds with joy.. The shef was very pleasant and adjust the spice level as need for my situation. My husband went all out Thai spicy and loved it. Very affordable, Price to portion is great and they are not shy with the protein so you get a meal worth every krona. I asked for recommendation and no.14 was absolutely delicious. My husband had the pad Thai and insisted we go for lunch there soon so we will definitely be back! Can't wait to try something new...
