Can’t believe that we lived close to this gem for years and we only managed to dine here on our last evening before moving. A last hurrah. A true neighbourhood restaurant in an area in dire need of options, Via Lorenzo offers a solid reinterpretation of comfort classics and a very solid after work offer. The true highlight is the plank steak though. On weekdays you can have grilled entrecôte (or chicken, or salmon) with pommes duchesse and grilled veggies and a drink (Carlsberg or wine) plus sauce for 299 kr. And I was surprised to find out that it was the best steak I had in a while (and I have just come back from a trip to Tuscany where I had Florentine steak). Lorenzo's is a place you think you'd like to eat a tasty bite of ravioli but then Lorenzo's tells you that it's not recommended. So you wait and have a couple of drinks. A lovely supple white zinfandel and Lorenzo's gives you a fair few. And as is the custom Lorenzos has a few glasses too.

The night draws on and you still haven't eaten. At this point you fancy a pizza but no no no. Lorenzo's suddenly reccomends the tasty tasty ravioli. Because you fancied eating it before you say yes. Even though deep down you think you'd prefer some pizza. Lorenzo insists and you have the ravioli.

By far the best Italian restaurant in Scandinavia! 🍝❤️ The place is spotless and has an impressive variety of dishes, all bursting with incredible flavor. The staff are very warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. The atmosphere is vibrant yet cozy, making it perfect for families too.
