Burgers & Bangers — Restaurant in Norrköpings kommun

The venue is nice and the English speaking staff are very friendly. They also have English menus which is helpful and not always the case in Norrkoping.

Unfortunately, the burgers and coleslaw are too salty to enjoy.

Had I not just arrived from Arlanda Airport and not had lunch after eating very little for breakfast I would have opted not to complete the meal.

It is a real shame that the burger is so salty because one can sense the meat is high quality and the sauce is delicious too.

The first rule of cooking 101 is you can always add salt but you can never subtract once the food is cooked.

Past experience has taught me that food in Sweden 🇸🇪 is often over salted and I attribute it to the fact most Swedes eat little to no natural chilli or spices so they need more salt to compensate for the lack of flavour in their cuisine.

However, seeing the table has a bowl with dozens of salt sachets adds insult to injury.

Isn't it much better to allow diners to add more salt if they need it instead of feeding them artery clogging...

Very good place, for sure among the best burgers you can get in Östergötland region.

Burgers are well made, good ingredients and composition. In my personal taste they could be slightly more spiced, but it's a matter of preference.

Fries menu is Ok, not so special, either ordinary fries (overall taste ok) with various sauces or sweet potato fries.

Drinks menu is excellent, especially for beer lovers, with both own, local and famous Scandinavian craft beer brands on the menu.

Service was good, but did not visit during a busy time, so can't say how that would be.

Overall, if you fancy a burger, you should go here in Norrköping. I will definitely...

Friendly and service-minded staff. The restaurant is quite dark which probably works well during the evenings but less so during lunchtime. Loud music made it virtually impossible to talk and when our order were taken they had to be shouted. Food was mostly good. Burgers were delicious and perfectly cooked with tasty condiments and cheeses.
