“Can I give another star?”

Today I had my 12th burger in FM City, so I finally decided to leave a review. My rule of thumb is that a place needs to be visited at least three times to draw fair conclusions. The first experience is often influenced by the excitement of trying out something new. Your mood and hunger level also play a role when being the judge of the service and the food.

So how did FM City Burger deliver in my test? In one word: stellar. It easily outperforms all the other places nearby. The staff is super friendly, always eager to hear how we liked the burgers. It's clear they work hard to maintain consistency and continually improve both the burgers and the menu. And most importantly, the burgers are amazing. I’ve tried eight varieties so far. It's impossible to pick one but I'll try: after I finished today's Applewood Burger (it was the FM Limited Burger on the old menu), I conclude that's my favorite. But honestly, I can wholeheartedly recommend any burger - you won’t be disappointed. On top of these, the atmosphere is great, thanks to the 80s/90s music playing in the background.

This place is a hidden gem: fabulous burgers, cheap drinks, spacious and beautiful environment with outdoor seating. The food and drinks here are super value of money, the portions are very generous. I had an “Italian styled” burger, which used prosciutto, sun dried tomatoes, rocket and mozzarella. I ordered smashed beef patties and they were perfectly cooked. The cheese was cooked as well into crispy texture, and it matched greatly with the prosciutto. The balsamic dressing added sweetness and acidity to the savory combo, together with the fresh rocket made the whole burger tasted less heavy. Unlike a lot of other burger places in Stockholm that serve dripping oil greasy burgers, the burgers here were not greasy at all. I really dislike when the fat soaks through burger bread, and here I don’t need to worry about it. The loaded sweet potato fries were good as well, crispy but not too dry, with flavorful toppings. This place just became my new favorite burger place in Stockholm. I will keep coming back for...

Those burgers were the best restaurant experience I’ve had in the past few years. Starting with the waiter — he was incredibly nice, very polite, and professional. He took care of us from the very beginning to the very end. We had burgers and sweet potato fries, and everything was on point. The fries were crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, without any oily smell. The burger was amazing — great meat, a good bun, and perfectly cooked bacon. The food was awesome; everything was fresh. It may not look like it at first, but this place is truly a hidden gem in Stockholm. If you’re in the city, you definitely have to visit this place.
