Hirschenkeller — Restaurant in Stockholm

My wife and I visited the restaurant, and unfortunately, the situation took a distressing turn when we discovered that the piece of meat we ordered was rotten. This is an incredibly alarming and unacceptable occurrence, especially given the fact that my wife is currently pregnant. The potential health risks involved in serving spoiled food during such a sensitive time are deeply troubling, of course the chef didnt know, but bad things can happen when you dont pay attention to the food youre cooking or worse, that the chef doesnt even care..

The staff was excellent though, very helpfull and professional! They deserve a 5 star and that is the reason why I rated 2 stars...

The staff was very friendly and the beer was good (and cheap for Swedish prices). It seemed to be a slightly German restaurant but it reminded me more of British culture. You order at the bar and pay right after ordering. The food was nothing special but not bad either. I had nachos that always taste good but 3 sauces were included (which is nice. You usually only get one of those 3 choices). My friend had a burger that was mediocre. The atmosphere is a bit dark inside. We didn't choose to sit outside because it is located directly at a busy street.

If you want nothing fancy but cheap I would recommend...

Friendly staff, they have put a lot of effort protecting the customers by placing Plexiglas between some tables, they speak English very well, I've been there many times and I've enjoyed every visit. I wish they would repair the air conditioning, other than that the food is affordable and so are the drinks. An evening for 4 including food/drinks between $60 and $200 depending on what you order.
