Niji Esoki — Restaurant in Stockholm

This place has seriously declined since it opened. Time and time again, they fail to handle basic order requests like “no sauce.” My wife is lactose intolerant, and despite ordering clearly and politely, they’ve repeatedly ignored this simple instruction.

I’ve had to go back multiple times in the past to get orders corrected, which is already frustrating. But today was unacceptable — I had to return twice. The first time, they served the dish with sauce. The second time, they clearly just scraped it off instead of making a new one. I had been very clear — twice — before placing the order.

When I returned again, a staff member even questioned my concern despite visible white streaks of sauce still on the food. I pointed them out, but was met with skepticism. I had to demand a refund, which they gave, but there was no apology, no accountability, and no offer to make things right.

This isn’t about being difficult — it’s about food safety and basic respect. My wife ended up getting food poisoning because of this. If the staff doesn't understand an order, they should ask — not ignore it. I will absolutely not be coming back, and I don’t recommend this place to anyone who takes dietary...

This was a great place! The details on the dishes made it a valuable visit. The tastes were amazing!

From the outside seems like a normal sushi restaurant but it was way better than that. Luckily we live close and we are coming back!
