Popped in as I was really craving some proper tacos. I ordered the pastor, carnitas, gringa and the quesadillas with chorizo and cheese. Out of everything, the quesadillas were my favourite – perfectly toasted and slightly crispy on the outside, just how I like it. The pastor (marinated pork with pineapple) was a bit on the salty side for me, but the rest were spot on. Flavours were authentic, and everything came out really quickly, which was a nice surprise. The only real letdown was the drinks. You help yourself from an open fridge, but unfortunately the fridge wasn’t working properly and the drinks were barely cold. First of all, the price increased substantially!
Second, the portion sizes have clearly gone down, as well as the food quality…tastes like it’s been sitting around for hours and the meat is dry.
Third, the sauces are not cold and one of them was clearly spoiled with BUBBLES bubbling at the surface 🤢 This is sooooo dangerous and I can imagine a pregnant woman eating this and getting very sick. My partner and i got quite a lot of discomfort from the sauce, and the little I tasted of the red one tasted like alcohol from bacterial fermentation 😱

Read moreI’m from California and used to good Mexican food. La Neta has by far the best and most authentic Mexican tacos in all of Sweden and it’s not even close. It’s great that I can get the taste of home here in Sweden. If you want the real California Mexican taqueria experience you gotta go for the 5 corn tortilla pastor, carnitas, or bistec tacos (though if you’s a real G you gotta go for the pastor, real talk) and a side of chips with a ton of salsa to dip the chips in.
