Restaurang Tullgarn — Restaurant in Uppsala kommun

We were there yesterday an we spent a lovely time. The restaurant is situated in a very nice place juste next to the river, quiet bucolic and calm despite the street on the opposite side. The food was absolutely delicious, very good seafood with an excellent sauce, the meat was also delicious and very well cooked. The plate are not too small. The cheese is absolutely excellent! And I am French so, I know a bit about good cheese 😊 The beers we had were also very good.

Also the waiters were very nice. I've been learning Swedish for a few years now and yesterday I tried to speak a bit Swedish, order the plate and so, and they made the effort to keep speaking Swedish with me and not switching in English because I'm a tourist. I appreciated a lot! It was very encouraging.

The outdoor seatings were crowded when we arrived and it was also quite noisy. We sat in the middle of everything, so there was barely a view.

Busy during our visit. Our waiter did mistakes in not asking how we wanted our steak (I heard how she asked other guests) and got the wrong flavour of sparkling water. The steak was served medium-well done, which is not how I prefer my steak. The steak and the fries were quite tasteless. Bitter lettuce in the salad. The garlic bread had barely any...
