Bäckerei und Wirtschaft Drei Könige — Restaurant in Appenzell

Walked in and asked for a table. However, although there were nicely placed tables available near a window (without any reserve sign), we were told by a female staff (short hair middle aged lady) that those tables were reserved ( 10 am) and told us to seat in the back where the tables were not even cleaned after previous customer. We walked by later after visiting other cafe near by and noticed those “reserved tables” were still empty. Its 2024, but walker away from this small town with sense of racism in Switzerland…....

We were looking for a place to eat an ice cream when we found this restaurant / café!! Rudest waiter, Klause, I have never seen someone so rude. He took the order wrong and blamed it on us. His english was poor and he didnt ask to clarify. Then made us pay for wrong order. When we said we wont pay he told us to leave. Worst customer service. I took my dad who came from canada here. Waste of time and effort. Thank god i didnt spend any money here. Klause...
