We had an absolutely wonderful experience at this Persian restaurant in Basel. From the moment we stepped in, the warm and welcoming atmosphere made us feel right at home.

We ordered soup, Ghormeh Sabzi and Zereshk Polo ba Morgh, and both dishes were nothing short of perfection. The Ghormeh Sabzi was rich, aromatic, and full of authentic flavor—just like the way it’s made back home. The meat was tender, the herbs were perfectly balanced, and the tang from the dried limes brought everything together beautifully.

The Zereshk Polo Morgh was equally impressive—the rice was fluffy and fragrant with just the right amount of saffron, and the chicken was moist, flavorful, and cooked to perfection.

Finally a Persian restaurant in Basel :) I was waiting long time. We tried once, and we were happy with the food. The menu is not very large, but a reasonable of dishes to try many times :) Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Taj gave us an unforgettable experience from start to finish. They prepared a gorgeous table for our party of 12 and welcomed us with genuine warmth, the atmosphere just radiates hospitality. The food was fantastic across the board, and they went above and beyond by creating a custom birthday cake that tasted as amazing as it looked.
