Overpriced and Underwhelming

Just like most other food options in Westside, Little Istanbul is what you would except from a mall food stand. The staff was lackluster and I had to seemingly scream and repeat my order several times just to get it wrong anyways. The ingredients look fresh and the meal is prepeared infront of you which is nice. But just because you have fresh vegetables doesn't mean you can replace the meat. The Durum Kebab was more like a vegetable wrap. The meat has a great taste, but it's nothing like the common Kebab taste you would except. The bread was dry, soggy at some places and crunchy at others. There is no telling about the sauce because there was hardly any considering the large amount of vegetables. This review is based on the Baba Kebab which is 12.50 CHF. You can get a real Durum Kebab for 10 CHF. The Falafel Plate on the other hand was great. But it is also tainted by the unjustified price...

Also ich bin schon sowas wie ein Stammkunde. Durch mein Darsein als Wochenaufenthalter esse ich hier wöchentlich und ich muss sagen ich bin schockiert was ich lesen muss. Diese vermeintlich dummen Sprüche die hier angesprochen werden, schonmal was von lockerem smalltalk gehört oder handelt es sich hier um besonders empfindliche Wesen? Essen kalt, seid ihr noch 30 Minuten nach Hause gelaufen, ich verbrenne mir auch nach 10 Minuten bis zur Wohnung den Mund. Unsere Erfahrung mal zusammengefasst: top essen, das Gemüse ist sehr frisch, das Fleisch ist super und das Dürumbrot ist gut. Wenn man den Leuten sagt was man alles gerne hätte packen die auch drauf was man möchte, vor allem kann man den Leuten auch sagen wenn etwas verwendet wird was man nicht wollte. Dadurch lassen sich so Überraschungen vermeiden, nennt sich soziale Kompetenz. Absolut empfehlenswerter Laden und endlich mal nicht diese sparvariante beim Fleisch als Hackfleischmischung. Noch dazu gibt es die Variante mit mehr Fleisch nicht ohne Grund. Denn Fleisch kostet Geld, also normales Geschäftsmodell für mehr hochwertiges Fleisch auch mehr Geld zu wollen. Logische Schlussfolgerung, frage mich ob die negativen Bewertungen nicht etwas weltfremd und selber...
