Bäkerei Gabriel Backstube — Restaurant in Breil/Brigels

Nice bakery in the Surselva region of Switzerland. They offer ice-cream, pastries, drinks and... toys! yes, you read that right! You can take your kids there, go alone, with friends, family, everything! its a small, but still spacious enough bakery, however if the weather is nice theres just a few spaces outside, but that was the only thing a little disappointing! however the pastries and the ice-cream surely...

Auf Empfehlung sind wir in unseren Ferien früh morgens um halb 8 in die Bäckerei Gabriel. Das Sortiment war zwar sehr gross, jedoch wirkte nichts so wirklich ansprechend. Ca. 10 verschiede Grossbrote, diverse kleine Brötli, eine grosse Auswahl an Patisserie. Für ein so kleines Dorf beachtlich. Wir entschieden uns schliesslich für frische Butter-Gipfeli, Laugengipfeli und Weggli. Um 8 Uhr nahmen wir unseren ersten Bissen am Frühstückstisch - und waren schon etwas enttäuscht. Die Laugengipfeli waren recht trocken. Butter-Gipfeli waren okay. Auch die Weggli waren okay - mehr aber auch nicht. Ich möchte mir nicht vorstellen, wie es um 11 Uhr gewesen wäre.

Vielleicht wäre es besser, das Sortiment etwas kleiner zu halten, dafür könnte man sich etwas mehr auf die Frische-Qualität achten....
