The good thing is it was open on a Monday when many Swiss restaurants take the day off. But the service left much to be desired by the chief waitress. Their sign on the outside chairs said to do take out at the bar. The chief waitress was busy with the coffee machine and barely said hello. She mentioned the terrasse is closed several times, but that she would still bring out the beers. When she finally did after about 10 minutes, she accidentally dropped one but quickly replaced it. We asked for food but were told they only had some salty mix which she brought a cup of per person. Swiss kitchens usually close after lunch is over, from about 2:30-6pm,so we weren't surprised. La cucina da loro è ottima e impeccabile. La posizione del posto incantevole e unico del suo genere nel Locarnese. Peccato che non sono assolutamente all'altezza per quanto al servizio lento o a tratti inesistente. A Pascquetta eravamo in terrazza, una giornata di pieno sole, tutto il mondo era in giro. Da parte nostra un tavolo: il cameriere ignorava di continuo nuovi clienti che puntualmente se ne andavano. Non portava via i bicchieri degli ultimi, il tavolo pieno di briciole mai pulite. Abbiamo visto almeno 3 coppie che se ne sono andati snervati dall’attesa infinita di essere serviti. Se solo VOLEVA, il cameriere poteva accorgersi dei nuovi arrivati. Due camerieri. Uno (il ragazzo scuro) veloce, attento, cordiale, anche spiritoso e sorridente, i suoi tavoli appena liberati puliti e pronti per nuovi clienti. L’altro, sgarbato, antipatico, e che ignorava quando cercavi lo sguardo per ordinare. Dopo la 1. consumazione volevamo ordinare ancora qlc., ci ha detto “adesso dovete aspettare un po’”… ah, ecco. Sarà professionalità questo? Non aveva da servire nessuno d’altro, tutto sommato…. Peccato. 3 stelle solo perché si, si mangia divinamente, ma noi ad esempio, per il lento servizio, abbiamo “fatto la croce sopra”: eravamo buoni clienti, da 12 a 15 persone alla volta. Wir hatten am 24. Juni 2024 eine Reservation für 40 Personen in Ihrem Restaurant gemacht. Die Geschäftsleitung hat uns schriftlich bestätigt, dass wir am 13. Juni 2025 bei Ihnen essen dürfen. Zusätzlich wurde vereinbart, dass wir im Vorfeld ein Probeessen durchführen und dafür ein Wochenende in Locarno verbringen würden. Ende März 2025 haben wir uns bei Ihnen gemeldet, um das Probeessen für Anfang April zu organisieren. Daraufhin erhielten wir eine E-Mail von Frau XXX, in der sie uns mitteilte, dass sie uns leider vergessen habe, in die neue Agenda für 2025 einzutragen. Für denselben Tag hatte sie bereits eine andere Reservation für 120 Personen angenommen, weshalb für uns kein Platz mehr verfügbar war. Das war besonders enttäuschend, da wir bereits alles für das Wochenende organisiert und gebucht hatten inklusive der Übernachtung. Und dann das böse Erwachen: Kein Tisch, keine Reservation, keine Möglichkeit für das geplante Probeessen. Wir mussten nun kurzfristig ein neues Restaurant finden, das überhaupt noch genügend Platz hat. Zwar wurde uns angeboten, bei der Suche nach einer Alternative zu helfen aber nach dieser Erfahrung verzichten wir gerne darauf.
