An incredible positive surprise. We came to eat here for a family celebration. The menu, the ambience, the service were all of a very high standard. Everything was set up perfectly. We received a really warm welcome and throughout the evening, no glass was left empty and no wish unfulfilled.

The food, from the starter to the dessert, was delicious. The price-performance ratio was very good.

The reason why this restaurant only gets 4 stars is the fact that it is in an alley and although the restaurant was empty when we arrived, the few parking spaces (3-4 maximum) were all taken, so we had to go park at another restaurant.

I am convinced that if this restaurant were in the city of Zurich, with the same quality of food as well as the excellent service, the great ambience with the perfect music, people would have to book months earlier to get a table.

Unfortunately we had a really bad experience. At first we had to wait an eternity to only order food, than we waited almost an hour to have it and on the top the food was bad. We had gnocchi and pasta carbonara and both were completely overcooked. I would never thought that something like that can happen in Italian part of Switzerland- that they are not able to cook pasta properly and they are not ashamed to serve this to their customers…this is such a shame as otherwise this place is nice. But the service in both - kitchen and serving is really bad. If at least the food was good, but if we haven’t been there already for one hour and half and quite hungry we wouldn’t even eat it. We shared our experience with the waiter and he was even rude to us. Avoid this place there are better places to have a lunch, you will avoid a big...

Deludente Esperienza in un Posto Promettente

Durante una serata estiva, spinti dal desiderio di una piacevole cena all'aperto, abbiamo deciso di provare questo ristorante il quale offre un accogliente veranda fiorita. Purtroppo, l'esperienza non ha rispecchiato le nostre aspettative per diversi motivi.

Cominciamo con il dire che il parcheggio si è rivelato un problema notevole. Non essendoci un'area dedicata, le opzioni disponibili sono di parcheggiare distante oppure essere fortunati nel trovare posto nei 6 posti disponibili davanti all’ingresso i quali sono ovviamente occupati dai residenti della zona.

Relativamente al servizio, purtroppo, è stato impossibile non notare diverse lacune. Per esempio, il cameriere ha suggerito una porzione maggiorata dei crostini di baccalà senza però menzionare il relativo sopraprezzo, un dettaglio che ci è sembrato poco trasparente. Inoltre per il filetto non ha richiesto la preferenza di cottura di conseguenza, essendo servita con la pietra calda arrivando già troppo cotta è stato impossibile mantenerla sulla pietra per tenerla calda . Inoltre, abbiamo richiesto il menù dei dolci, ma dopo una lunga attesa senza che nessuno venisse a prendere l'ordine, abbiamo deciso di andarcene.

Passando al cibo, il filetto di angus è stato servito non solo eccessivamente cotto, ma anche in porzioni ridotte e con venature di grasso. Considerando il prezzo di 48 CHF, prezzo principe nel menu dei secondi, il peso deve esser specificato nel menù. Di sicuro il taglio non era di 180 gr e mi aspettavo una qualità decisamente superiore o almeno in linea (prezzo dimensioni e qualità) a qualsiasi ristorante della zona.

In sintesi, sebbene l'ambiente esterno del ristorante sia effettivamente invitante e piacevole, le numerose pecche sia nel servizio che nella qualità del cibo rendono improbabile scegliere nuovamente o raccomandare questo locale.
