I waited outside with my little daughter so she could play, it was 6pm. I was the only person outside. After at least 10 min no server had shown up (although I'm rather sure 2 saw me from inside, my daughter was dancing next to the windows). To give them the benefit of the doubt I called and asked if they could please send someone outside so I could order some food. Again 10min later no one had appeared. I went inside to tell the waiter politely that I'm not amused. I saw that the restaurant only had a few guests. He apologised and was friendly. I still give 1 star,a nearly empty restaurant, 6pm and waiting for 20min without getting service is not acceptable. Read moreLeider enttäuschend – und das auf mehreren Ebenen. Beim Besuch dieses Restaurants hatte ich den klaren Eindruck, dass mein Essen aufgewärmt war. Als ich den Kellner darauf ansprach, wurde ich überraschenderweise sogar in die Küche geführt – dort erklärte man mir, dass das Gericht unter einer großen Wärmelampe „frisch gehalten“ werde. Soweit, so semi-glaubwürdig.
Wirklich kurios wurde es allerdings, als ich im selben Raum an der Wand mehrere Mikrowellen entdeckte. Zufall? Vielleicht. Aber ich traue mir durchaus zu, zu erkennen, wenn Essen nicht frisch zubereitet wurde.
Das Geschmackserlebnis war entsprechend: flach, wenig aromatisch und ganz sicher kein kulinarisches Highlight.
Positiv hervorzuheben ist, dass das Personal freundlich war – das allein reicht aber leider nicht aus, um einen weiteren Besuch zu rechtfertigen.

Read moreMy caveat….I am from Southern California and have been living in Switzerland for some time. For Switzerland, this is a pleasant dining experience with decent service and atmosphere. The food? Not authentic at all. Too many items obviously come from cans. I have also never had fajitas made with pickled vegetables from a jar in lieu of fresh peppers and onions.
We’ve eaten here one other time and the nachos were passable. The chicken wings were very disappointing—little to no meat and soaked in a sweet bbq sauce.
Really enjoyed the cold Negro Modelo though. We will cook Mexican from home from now on and MAYBE come here for a beer and nachos if we want to have a happy hour. For a meal? Pass…We’ll...
