YUA Sushi — Restaurant in Freienbach

In June our delivery came over 90 minutes too late and when it arrived it was all mushy and unpleasant. They forgot to deliver it, so it was standing around for quite a while, no sashimi likes that. While waiting for the delivery we called several times, sometimes they said it’s on it’s way, sometimes nobody even answered the phone. Meanwhile we prepared what was left in our fridge. Definitely fresher than what we got much later. The courier then told us he just left the restaurant, so as I already mentioned 90 minutes later. A day later I got finally in touch with the manager. I asked for a refund which he was not willing to give me but he offered a free delivery any day of my choosing. I chose yesterday and wrote him a WhatsApp and later the restaurant an email (nobody answered the telephone while the restaurant was open). And guess what, no delivery, nothing. Disappointing Poke Bowl at Yua Sushi!

I had been to Yua Sushi on Talstrasse 31 in Pfäffikon once before and found the experience quite pleasant—the sushi was good, which made me keen to return and try their poke bowls. Unfortunately, the salmon poke bowl I had today was the worst I’ve ever tasted. Instead of fresh, cubed or sliced salmon, it came as a mushy mixture topped with a gingery paste—strange, unappetizing, and far from what a proper poke bowl should be.

I came here with my girlfriend and it was good. We asked for Udom Nudel and business sushi. The nudel was really good, spectacular and the sushi was OK, normal with nothing special. The service very good, friendly to the 2 young people and always asked if everything was okay. The atmosphere, the weather and the spectacular decor very beautiful.
