**A Quiet Gem: Le Saint Honoré on Rue de Carouge** Le Saint Honoré on Geneva’s Rue de Carouge is a charming, unpretentious bakery that feels like a step back in time. The warm, buttery scent of fresh croissants greets you, and the almond croissant—crisp outside, soft and nutty within—is a standout. The apple pie is rustic and satisfying, with perfectly balanced dough. Open at all hours, it’s a haven for locals and night owls, with friendly staff who make you feel at home. Some batches can vary, and prices reflect Geneva’s 2025 economy, but the quality is over the top. A no-frills spot for excellent pastries and a dose of old-school warmth.

It was my first time in Genève, me and my partner decided do try this café that looked really cozy from outside. It was a great experience, the staff is super friendly and the food looks delicious! The most difficult part of this experience was to decide what to eat because everything looks so good! We decided to go for a cappuccino, a pain au chocolate and a baguette which was incredible. The following days we had to comeback to repeat the breakfast. I hope to be back soon!

I have travelled the world extensively over 40 years. I ate at all restaurants ranging from pop & mom’s to Michelin three stars. This is my honest review of the bakery Le Saint Honoré in Geneva. This bakery feels like time stopped in a good way. Wide choices of traditional pastries. I tried the apple pie and the almond croissant which were both delicious (in particular the dough). The interior is a bit old fashioned but charming at the same time.
