Good selection of Korean starters, mains, bbq, and Korean spirits. Didn’t try the bbq/spirits so I won’t comment on that. Service was very good and I was able to use my restobar voucher (25chf voucher but must spend 50 or more). The menu is not cheap but not too expensive for Geneva’s standards. Unfortunately I didn’t see Tteokbokki (love thaaat!) on the menu. Thanks for a great meal.

🇰🇷 La fin des vacances a sonné, après deux semaines de dépaysement et un voyage épique de 10 jours à Séoul, la capitale énigmatique de la Corée du Sud, je suis de retour à Genève, mais dans un restaurant coréen. Le Kimchi, situé dans la rue de Carouge, tout près de l'arrêt de tram Blanche. Je me suis demandé si je pourrais retrouver les saveurs que j'ai goûtées lors de mon périple dans la capitale du pays du matin calme. Le Kimchi (un plat traditionnel composé de piments et de légumes fermentés), est dirigé par Suki, qui vous fera découvrir les mets typiques de son pays. Pour moi, ce sera le bulgogi, un boeuf mariné dans une sauce soja, accompagné de riz et de bachan (une sélection d'accompagnements). Les épices sont dosées à la perfection pour nous, moins fortes qu'à Séoul, mais tout aussi délicieuses. Le service est chaleureux, l'ambiance est simple mais confortable, et les prix sont raisonnables. Si vous cherchez une expérience culinaire coréenne, authentique à Genève, Le Kimchi est un excellent choix, une très bonne trouvaille.

Nice place to have Korean bbq near Augustin neighbourhood. The food was pretty quickly served. The barbecue is served on the table (not installed directly inside the table). There were not many choices for the barbecue, otherwise the food tasted good. We booked using the Fork and got -20% off.

The restaurant is nothing special, poor decoration, the sushi looked like it was made the previous day, the waitress couldnt communicate to us her french language skills were almost non-existant and she didn't even know how to open a bottle of wine... The rest of our order was just as bad and tasted bland... can't really recommend this restaurant to anyone, i don't know how it was so highly rated on the apps... maybe they bought...

Took two today's special to go, the Bibimbap and the tteokbokki; the bibimbap is okay though lacking flavors and the chicken looks like it's just been defrosted. The tteokbokki was plain, without any side nor ingredient except the rice rolls and the sauce. Extremely dispointed with the latter, I could simply eat the sauce and the taste would be the same.
