This restaurant is a hidden gem in Carouge. The food is absolutely delicious and the service is very friendly. Most of the ingredients are sourced locally from around Geneva. The « chasse » or game menu is delicious and the portion is very generous. The popular chicken in lobster sauce is such a flavor bomb, wow! And the tête de veau is really a star dish - savory delicious sauce and gelatinous meat that melt in your mouth.

At first, I was a bit worried that place might be too busy for a staff to pay attention to me. But no, staffs were still very attentive, and my food came at the right time, perfect temperature and seasoning. Food was really great and atmosphere was equally great.

The food is excellent and so is the service. I highly recommend the Potence (see video). They also have a breakfast formula, you get a croissant, coffee and an orange juice for 4.50 CHF. That's pretty unbeatable.

Owners and waiters extremely disrespectful. We rented a whole room for 40 people and had a student's christmas party, and they continously and very annoyingly kept pushing for us to keep consuming dishes and drinks, meanwhile they were unwilling to give us tap water for free ! At the ens, they also cut off the karaoke music while someone was singing to kick us out !

A complete shame, never been treated in a ruder way ever. I strongly recommend you stay away...
