La Bottega da Pina — Restaurant in Kloten

In the afternoon we passed this cosy restaurant where we immediately received a warm welcome. The menu was not available in English, but the waitress happily translated all the dishes for us. In the evening we came back to sit on the cosy terrace. With a delicious bottle of red wine, which the staff had a lot of knowledge about and two delicious pizzas, we had an evening full of enjoyment. The staff is super friendly, knows a lot about Italian cuisine and is open to thinking along with you, having a friendly chat and making a joke.

If you are near Zurich or Kloten, visiting this is definitely recommended!! I know that we will come back if we go...

The Pizza is wafer thin and delicious. It has really fresh flavours bursting with a lot of colour. A great place to come to for a bit and just enjoy quick and good food. Definitely delicious. It also has one of the better coffees in the Zurich area by a mile. There are a lot of nice coffee spots but you're paying an arm and a leg while here the coffee is just as good if not better at a cheaper price. Real authentic Italian too. This place offers a great space to come, relax and have a bite or one of the best...

Wir waren dort als Familie zum Zmittag. Das Restaurant selbst ist ganz nett, beinahe kitschig beschmückt, jedoch gemütlich und mit schönem Licht. Das Ambiente gesamt sehr schön mit vielen kleinen Details. Zum Service: sehr schnell, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Zum Essen: die Portionen sind echt klein, ausser die langen Pizzas. :-( Vor allem vegane Gerichte viel zu klein. Wenn man vegan isst, bedeutet ja nicht, dass man weniger Hunger hat! Die Bezeichnung "Gemüse" war irreführend - ich erwartete mehrere/verschiedene Gemüsesorten zum Fleisch, bekam jedoch nur paar Scheiben Zucchini... Mein Gericht mit Fleisch sättigte mich nur knapp (bin Frau mit 53 Kg Gewicht und 168 cm Grösse). Die vegane Portion bei meinem Mann sättigte ihn überhaupt nicht. Einzig Pizzas bei unserem Kind und der Tante waren gross genug, aber der Teig fast viel zu dünn. Jedoch Pizzas waren sehr lecker! :-) Pluspunkt ist, dass beim Mittag zu jedem Menü ein Salat automatisch dazu gehört, was aber nicht auf der Karte vermerkt ist. Die Portion Salat ist winzig... :-( Eigentlich wollten wir noch Dessert nehmen, aber der Lärm drin war unerträglich und um uns zu hören, mussten wir fast schreien. :-( Daher verzichteten wir auf Dessert und gingen zum Bäck vis-a-vis, wo man auch sitzen & konsumieren kann.
