LA BRASSERIE 28 / LA PIZZA 28 — Restaurant in Lancy

My husband and I went to La Braceria Fratelli Scalea on Sunday, April 21 for dinner and it was a terrible experience for the following reasons: When we arrived, we were asked if we had booked with The Fork. Although we said no, the waiter asked us several times and at the end of all, he mentioned that people who booked via the application on that day get a 50% discount (I think it was not necessary to let us know that we would pay the full price unlike anyone else in the room). It took the waiter 30 minutes to set the table by moving the cutlery and glasses from the next table. Besides, the glasses were dirty. After an hour of waiting, I asked the waiter how long it would take to get our dishes and instead of apologizing, he blamed the Pizzaiolo and offered to change my order to something other than a pizza. I refused because we had been waiting long enough. Indeed, the dishes arrived 2 minutes later (wouldn't it have been better to apologize and check when the dishes would arrive?) We then noticed that the green pepper entrecote that my husband had ordered was cold and that the sauce was a simple mayonnaise. As we were very hungry, we started eating and a few minutes later I mentioned it to the waiter. Instead of apologizing, he didn't want to believe that the meat was cold "since the cooks have lamps", and told me that I should have told him earlier (at that time, I must admit that I lacked patience and I insisted firmly), so he finally accused the cooks, still without apologizing. We then ordered a little more wine and water and had to claim because we were almost done eating and the drinks had still not arrived. At the end of the meal, the waiter proposed a digestive implying that it was a commercial gesture for the inconvenience caused. Unfortunately, this did not leave us with a better feeling since it was not the first time we had been to this restaurant and they systematically offer it. Finally, when the invoice arrived, although we mentioned that we didn't want to pay for a sauce we never got, the sauce was billed.

In summary, this is the third time we have eaten in this restaurant and the service has been very slow on each ocasion, however the food was quite good. Nevertheless, this time, the food was more than mediocre, the service was even slower than usual and above all unpleasant, which completely ruined...

Se c'è un posto che merita di essere celebrato, è senza dubbio il ristorante "La Braceria Gerardo Scalea". Ho trascorso le mie vacanze di Natale a Ginevra e mi sono recata con la mia famiglia al ristorante con cucina italiana. Ci sono stata due volte e ogni esperienza è stata un vero e proprio viaggio culinario che ha superato le mie aspettative. La prima volta, ho deciso di provare la loro pizza, e posso affermare con certezza che è tra le migliori che abbia mai assaporato con un impasto lievitato alla perfezione. Gli ingredienti freschissimi e di alta qualità si sposavano armoniosamente, creando un equilibrio di sapori che mi ha lasciato senza parole. Ho scelto una pizza margherita con mozzarella di bufala e rucola. Ogni morso era un'esplosione di freschezza e sapore. In quella occasione ho assaporato una grigliata con carne cotta a puntino, tenera e succulenta. Abbiamo apprezzato la qualità dei prodotti e la competenza del cuoco. La seconda visita sempre con la mia famiglia ed amici mi ha visto esplorare il menu di pesce, e siamo rimasti altrettanto colpiti dalla bontà dell'antipasto, del primo piatto e del secondo piatto. Tutto cucinato con aromi freschi e i piatti presentati in modo impeccabile. Ogni boccone era una delizia, e la freschezza del pesce era palpabile. Per finire abbiamo provato anche i loro dolci : la mousse al cioccolato, una millefoglie alla crema e un dolce alle castagne. Tutti molto buoni e con ingredienti di qualità. Il servizio è stato impeccabile, con personale attento e cordiale che ha reso entrambe le visite ancora più piacevoli. L'atmosfera del ristorante è accogliente e raffinata, perfetta per una cena romantica o una serata tra amici. In conclusione è un ristorante che consiglio vivamente a chiunque desideri gustare piatti di alta qualità, che spaziano dalla pizza ai piatti di carne e pesce. Ogni visita è stata un'esperienza indimenticabile, e non vedo l'ora di tornarci per esplorare ulteriormente il loro menu. Un vero gioiello...

Nous y sommes allés 2 fois, la première fois pour un plat de pâtes "tagliatelle alla porto venere" et la pizza "la burratina" tout était excellent, rien à dire. Service agréable même arrivé à presque 14:00. En revanche la deuxième fois n'était pas aussi agréable, deux pizzas, la "alle melanzane", bonne mais indigeste, seule la moitié à été mangée, pourtant on avait faim et nous sommes bon mangeurs. L'autre pizza était la "3 frattelli" très décevante pour 33.- avec 5 tranches de mortadella, 5 bouts de tomates séchées, une burata pas terrible et des artichauts vraiment secs. Après avoir mangé je me suis plaint des quantités, l'excuse était que, "comme on le sait tout a augmenté".... En prime, la personne qui a mangé celle aux aubergines a tout vomi en rentrant, l'autre à passé la journée entre le lit et les toilettes le lendemain. J'estime être sympa avec mes 3 étoiles.

Monsieur, que vos ingrédients soient de bonne qualité je n'en doute pas, mais vous devriez vous remettre en question et revoir la grosseur de votre ego. Quel patron traite des clients de menteurs ou de malhonnêtes à chaque commentaire négatif ?? Quel patron répond des commentaires tels que les votre après que des clients aient été malades et pour de vrai ? Je crois bien que vous êtes le seul de ce genre. Si vous ne me croyez pas, libre à vous mais je pense qu'il est important que les gens qui ont la présence d'esprit que je n'ai pas eue en venant dans votre charmant restaurant, de regarder les commentaires avant de s'y aventurer soient informés. J'ai contesté la quantité des ingrédients sur la pizza et pas son prix, quoique j'aurais du car en effet 33.- c'est vraiment abusé mais les prix sont affichés dans votre carte et si j'ai pas les moyens, je n'achète pas... votre concurrent au bout de la place à gagné 2 clients fidèles grâce à votre agressivité et méchanceté virtuel! Chi se vanta sulu, nun...
