Had the best meal during our stay here. It was our first time being in Switzerland and we came to Geneva for the auto show. Since the hotels in Geneva were crazily expensive, we stayed in Ferney, France. For that we expected to have great French food or at least typical Swiss food. Yet we found nothing but Italian restaurants from the area we were at.
We were lucky getting to know a local friend from the show who took us here. It was not a big place, but the atmosphere was so amazing and it was crowded inside. We could easily tell that everyone had a great time from their faces. Our friend helped us to order the famous dish of the restaurant which had the beef grilled with whisky on it so we also could taste the whisky from the rice at the bottom. The potato, rice, beef and creme burei were all served perfectly.
We don’t speak French like our friend but the owners and staffs were so friendly that we enjoyed really much. Would love to visit again...

Started with the sherry consumme which had a great depth of flavour that you'd hope from a consumme. It was perfectly balanced with the sherry. Enough to give you a nice hit of sherry but right on the edge, anymore and it would feel overpowered but they nailed it
The steak flambé was as good as a meal I've had. Juicy tender pieces of steak but with this beautiful char on the outside. They offered five condiments but I only cared for two. The butter and pepper sauce. It was recommended to mix the two and I recommend the same!
The service was warm and attentive. It was also a nice tough being greated and served by the chef. I was just staying the night at a Geneva airport hotel but I'm glad I walked across the park to visit. I'll remember my visit for a long time. Can't recommend enough. Read moreUnfortunately one of my worst experiences I had since long. It starts with the menu that is basically limited to two different choices. What a terrible Service nothing else is available. You get the flamed beef as a menus or single or as the only alternative available is an Entrecôte which probably was a pre frozen uneasy piece of beef that they sell as Entrecôte. The next is they rip you off by the sizes and number of people. We have ordered for 6 persons and received for four only. The chef is absolutely not approachable for discussions or complaints. However I have filed a police claim against them as well as reporting them to the tax authorities because that’s fraud what they are doing. We strongly recommend you not to go to this place.
